By downloading, installing, or using 1Better ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
1Better is a personal goal-tracking application that helps you build consistent habits through incremental daily improvement. The App allows you to set baselines, log daily progress, track streaks, and visualize your growth over time. All functionality operates entirely on your device.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use 1Better. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
You own all data you create within 1Better. All goal data, log entries, milestones, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of your personal data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. If you delete the App or lose your device, your data cannot be recovered by us.

The 1Better name, logo, app design, user interface, and all associated visual and written content are the intellectual property of 1Better. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.
1Better is a self-improvement tracking tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, fitness, or health advice. The App does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or professional guidance of any kind.
You should consult with qualified professionals before beginning any new fitness, health, or wellness program. You use the App and follow any self-set goals entirely at your own risk.
1Better provides tools to help you track and maintain consistency. We do not guarantee any specific results, outcomes, or improvements. The compound growth model used in the App is a mathematical framework for goal-setting and is not a promise of actual performance gains.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any features within it) at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
1Better is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 1Better and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1Better and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
1Better is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple's own terms and conditions. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
